Welcome to TAIWAN! DAY TWO!

My 2nd day Starts with a pack itinerary!  Bought the Taipei 3-day pass(NT$440).It allow users unlimited access (Both Taipei and New Taipei) usage for city buses and MRT listed on the card.  It's really useful if you are taking city buses and MRT many times a day!  To me, i feel worth it as i will be using it frequently for the 3days!  Took the MRT from Taipei Station to Taipei Zoo station.Entry for Zoo cost (NT$60)!  Really Cheap!  It's really worth the visit if u like to see the Chinese Pandas!  So adorable and Cute!  The area of the Taipei Zoo was so big!  I spend half a day walking around!  Lots of species and worth the money if u like animals!  Luckily,for me as i get to see the Famous TUAN TUAN and YUAN YUAN with less crowd due to weekdays!  Looking at them lazing around,makes me feel that they are enjoying life in Taiwan!  You can also find flamingos when u enter the main entrance!  Their fur really look vibrant in color!

After visiting the Zoo,we went to the famous Wufenpu to do some shopping!( Take MRT and Alight at Hou Sha Pi Station )  Lots of clothes and accessories varies from Korea,Japan,Europe and American Style.U name it, they got it!  Really a girl's paradise for sure!  Of course, i would not recommend Wufenpu just about shopping,but the food!  I highly recommended Farmosa Chang 鬍鬚張 @ Wufenpu

as the Mince Pork Rice(NT$30) is really one the BEST in Taiwan!  It's really Great value with the quality and price!Of course,not to forget the other side dishes which are appealing too!  You have your own pick and decide what you like to eat from the full range Menu!I did try the toufu and pork trotters which are really delicious.For ur info,i ate 2 big Mince Pork Rice that day! =P


After a fulfilling meal,went to Jay chou's Mr J cafe to have some dessert and coffee.

Take the MRT to Taipei City Hall MRT Station and transfer to a free shuttle to Mr J Cafe


I was excited to see the Mr J cafe filled with props and posters from the movie "The Secret".The piano from the movie was there too!!!  So Authentic!  I tried the tiramisu and black coffee which only (NT$100).Worth it!  Those Jay chou's fan must VISIT this Cafe!


After Mr J cafe,we visit Taipei 101 observatory to have a go at one of the tallest buildings in the world!Ticket for adults (NT$400).  You must buy the tickets at level 5 and board the fastest lift(37secs) in the world to the 89th storey of Taipei 101!

You can enjoy all the direction view at the 89th storey!Powerful binoculars for viewing such a beautiful Taipei city!There are bars,giftshops and image service available for all.  Took alot of nice night scenery pictures which i will share with all later!  Tried their famous Beer Float too!Cost of the beer about(NT$180) .  Taste quite nice as i thought that REAL Beer cannot really blend with ice-cream!  Try if you like BEER! =P  You will also get the chance to see the Tune Mass Dumper to stable the building and reduces the wind movement of Taipei 101 between 87th and 91st floor.  It's also the world largest TMD with diameter of 5.5m!  Pay a Visit to Taipei 101!


After the Taipei 101 tour,we took MRT to Shili Night Market.  Alight at Jiantan Station.(Please remember and Take note!!!)

So much food available and so many things to buy!!!  IT'S really a very happening Night market!  Highly recommended to those who likes to play UFO machines to catch soft toys!  So cheap!  NT$10 per try!!!  Try my luck on a machine which gives laptop as PRIZE!!!  Tried many times,but don't manage to get the monkey to drop into the hole... So disappointed!!!  Anyway,move on to eat more food to forget my disappointment!  =P

Tried the Fried Oyster again!  Plus,my childhood favorite food Pig blood cube!!!  It's stop providing in Singapore for now as they say it's quite unhygienic!  Get the chance to eat it in TAIWAN! Really recall me of the past when i eat it when i was young!  Not to forget,their mee hoon and pork mince rice are nice too!  DO remember to try this local delicacies!!!  We end the long day with a local BBQ corn!  Really sweet and nice !
