Experience A Getaway Of A Lifetime And Embark On A Romantic Cruise In Paris

If you are looking for a romantic getaway and want to spend the weekend with your partner, then you should definitely visit Paris. Romance has always been the draw card when it comes to Parisian ambiance. What could be more romantic than a cruise on one of the beautiful glass boats? If you are looking for an ideal cruise in Paris then you can either rent a houseboat in Paris or look at the Bateaux Parisians cruise for two which includes a pickup at your hotel at no extra charge.

You will travel through the river Seine and be treated to a wonderful sightseeing experience. This trip is four hours and when the sun starts setting your will dine under the lights of the Parisian sky. You will be served a traditional French dinner along with a bottle of their finest champaign. The cruise starts off with the magnificent view of the Eiffel Tower, and then heads down the river Seine and stopping off at all the other wonderful splendors that will leave you totally mesmerized.

From the staggering architecture to the magnificent skylight, the cruise boat passes gently over the water. Landmarks you will pass by on your romantic cruise are the Louver Rose and the Notre-Dame and many well noted bridges. This is truly a spectacular sight that will keep you wanting to come back time and again. And to round the evening off, performers will grace you with their presence and play some true Parisian music which spices up the romance.

When going on board you will also be welcomed by the friendly staff that will assist you during your entire journey. In addition your romantic cruise does not end there as your hosts will also take you to the Champ de Elysees's Lido show and give you a small bottle of the very best luxury champagne. After the show you can party the night away, or just spend time alone with your partner. You can also hire a horse drawn carriage and take a romantic tour of the city.

Once you have had enough for the evening, you won't have to worry about hiring a cab when you return to your hotel, as once again you will be taken back to your hotel with the cruises compliments. Besides this option there are several other options you can explore in Paris. Sometimes the city center can be very overwhelming, so you could find accommodation further out or choose a boat rental in Paris which is a very popular option as opposed to villas or hotels. Renting a boat is not only romantic but also affordable and you get to see all the spectacular views.

There are also more elaborate options such as barge rental in Paris and rental houseboats. These boats have two to eight bedrooms with clean modern interior décor. Bookings are easy to make if you know exactly what you are looking for. The size of the boat will depend on what you can afford. You could spend a whole week-end on a houseboat as these boats are fully equipped with kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms. When stopping off to view the hot spots, all are within walking distance, which means you can get on and off the boat at your leisure and just stroll around.

On the other hand if you are looking for the ultimate luxury you could make use of the Louver Peniche Paris. They offer all the utilities you can imagine as well as cable TV and Jacuzzi baths, heating and air conditioning and basically your wish is their command. There are several different packages to choose from which are also flexible and affordable. No matter what type of vacation you are looking for, Paris boat companies will make sure you are comfortable and well looked after. The French are definitely the most charming and know how to treat their customers, unlike any other destination in the world.

Namibia - Best Safari Destinations

Northern Namibia may be the country's most densely populated region, but, when compared to third world countries, it's practically deserted. It is, furthermore, best known for its breathtaking natural wonders, and travelers looking to book their Namibia holidays should provide for an extended stay in this ruggedly beautiful area.

Although the list of stunning places to visit in Northern Namibia seems almost endless, close to the top must surely be Vingerklip, which translates as "Finger Rock". Vingerklip forms part of the spectacular Ugab Rock Terraces, and it literally stands out from the surrounding plains like an accusatory finger pointing straight to the sky. Visitors to the area can stay at the local lodge, and, while they're there, they can also enjoy buying handmade craft items from the indigenous Damara tribeswomen.

Like Vingerklip, Brandberg Mountain is also located deep within Damaraland, and its main claim to fame is that it's home to the world famous rock painting known as The White Lady of Brandberg. Discovered in 1918, this painting, although quite off the beaten track, is well worth a visit as, at over 2,000 years old, it's quite possibly one of the oldest Bushman paintings in existence. This colorful drawing depicts hunters in pursuit of a herd of oryxes, but it's the mysterious White Lady, with her goblet and her bow, who is the most intriguing.

A half-hour or so away from the Brandberg is the extraordinary Messum Crater, and no Namibia tours would be complete without trekking to this imposing hole in the earth, which is all that's left of the gigantic Etendeka volcanoes. The Messum is, perhaps, most well known for hosting Namibia's most famous plant: The Welwitchia Mirabilis, which usually takes a couple of thousand years to grow a pair of leaves and which is well worth visiting.

Namibia holds prime position on Africa's south-western coastline, and this starkly beautiful country offers visitors some of the best and most awe-inspiring scenery on the continent. It is, however, the enchanting region known as The Caprivi Strip that will remain in the impressionable tourist's memory long after his or her Namibia tours are over and done with.

The Caprivi's main attractions are its rivers - greatly prized in a country that's mainly desert - and its game parks. Bwabwata Park is most well known for its elephants, kudu and buffalo, and visitors are advised to visit this lush natural preserve during October when most of the park's game animals make a beeline for the available waterholes. Bwabwata Park is also home to over 300 species of birds, and it's no wonder that birdwatching is almost a national sport in Namibia.

Namibia tours activity and adventure holidays include history, culture, walking. climbing, trekking, sports, water activities, cruises, wildlife and nature.

Fun Facts About Australia To Increase Your Knowledge!

Every country is strange in its own particular way. Some countries may have exceptionally tall people (like the Netherlands); some countries may cover the largest proportion of the earth's area while holding only a fraction of its populations, (like Canada). Some may be as vast and arid as a desert yet be one of the richest countries of the world (like Saudi Arabia). In fact one may find thousands of strange facts about a country that may inspire amusement and awe. Here, I have gathered some fun facts about Australia, the country that lay to South East End the world.

Some fun facts about Australia:

England has been known as the chief influence for Australia. Australia was a colony of the British Empire and a large part of its History and culture are associated with England. Even the language the Australians speak is English. However, it was the Dutch who landed first in Australia before Captain Cook and named the region New Holland.

Convicts have had a large influence on Australian culture and history. In fact, the first inhabitants of the regions were convicts. The convicts were not all bad. In fact the first police force that was created in Australia was comprised of 12 of their best behaved convicts.

Australia has had some great movie stars that have made great forays into Hollywood. Geoffrey Rush, Heath Ledger and Cate Blanchet are all from Australia and have been Oscar winners. Older stars like Errol Flynn are also noticeable.

Australia is known for its vast arid landscape and its large deserts. However there is another side to Australia too. Australia also has snow covered mountains! These mountains are present in the northern side of Australia and according to some estimates; these mountains receive more snow than those in Switzerland!

Tasmania, an island off Australia, has one of the cleanest airs in the world. The rain water Tasmania receives is so pure that 5.5 tons of it was sent to Australian Athletes in Seoul in order to quench their thirst! Talking about Tasmania, the Island was a part of Australia until the last ice age when the melting ice bridge between Tasmania and Australia melted away.

One of the five people credited with designing the Australia flag was a Victorian Schoolboy. The won as his entry was very similar to the four others that also shared the prize for designing the flag.

So if you ever think that the Australia flag is complex, you might be baffled to know that it was actually designed by a schoolboy! We hope you liked our version of fun facts about Australia.

Loving Jamaica - Island in the Sun

As the winter quickly approaches, accompanied by its cold and snowy atmosphere, many are seeking getaways in the warmth of the Caribbean Islands; where the temperature is always hot and the beaches are many and easily accessible.

Jamaica is a unique country with beautiful people and picturesque landscapes from the lush mountainsides to the warm Caribbean Sea. From the black sand beaches of Treasure Beach to the almost blinding white sand beaches of Negril.

This Island has captured the hearts of many song writers, poets and avid travelers, and must be experienced in order to fully understand the reason why it has become so special to so many people.

It is saddening the negative publicity being poured into the media about this unique Island as the good far outweighs the bad.

The secrets it holds and the attractions that have found their homes in this amazing Island has made Jamaica a quality Island to visit for the best Caribbean vacation whether it be romantic or family.

Imagine exploring the depths of Green Grotto Caves, which was used as shelter by the first Jamaicans, the Arawak Indians (Tainos) or having the opportunity to climb the World famous Dunn's River Falls, which is 600 feet of cascading water over natural limestone terraces. Swimming with Dolphins, Stingrays and Sharks in their natural lagoons at Dolphin Cove, or going zip lining through beautiful rainforests and over one of the many Rivers that dance through the Island on its long journey to the sea.

This little Island holds something for everyone. The hopeless romantic may enjoy sipping cocktails while watching the sunset at Rick's Cafe in Negril, using the magical background as a possible perfect proposal. The working parents actually being able to relax in the sun while their children build sand castles and swim in the safe Caribbean waters. The Backpacker who wishes to experience the "true" Jamaica from its roots up. Your Jamaican vacation is only what you make it but it can all be found in Jamaica.

It is sad but Jamaica does hold so many dazzling places that can be unfortunately missed due to the commercialization of the Island. Magical places like the Pelican Bar which is literally a shack in the middle of the Sea, that can only be reached by boat, but is surrounded by massive beautiful pelicans sunning themselves on a shallow reef surrounding the bar. Enjoying the view and feeling the empowerment of climbing the Blue Mountains, which is the largest mountain in Jamaica and home to the coffee plants that provide the best and famous Jamaican Coffee.

When visiting Jamaica the best advise you can follow is to make a few trips outside of your hotel to experience the Island. Dine in style at fantastic restaurants, sometimes missed, because of the all inclusive foods at the hotels; visit Scotchies for the best "Jerk" you will ever meet, enjoy the top-notch and award winning attractions and soak in the beauty of Jamaica.
